Sabnam was born and raised in Odisha, India. She received her BSc and MSc from Utkal University. And obtained her PhD degree from Indian Institute of Science under the guidance of Prof. Tushar Kanti Chakraborty, where she worked on the total synthesis of polycyclic natural product. Sabnam joined the Sarlah group as a postdoctoral fellow in October 2024, working on total synthesis of bioactive natural products and methodology development. In her free time, she enjoys listening music, yoga, and running.
